Handball

Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six field players and one goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the objective of throwing it into the opposing team’s goal to score points. The game is played on a rectangular court with a goal at each end. The standard handball match consists of two halves, typically lasting 30 minutes each. Players can use any part of their body above the knee to control the ball, and they can dribble, pass, and shot to advance the play. Handball is known for its fast pace, high scoring, and dynamic tactics. It is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and includes various levels of play, from grassroots to international competitions, such as the Olympic Games and World Championships.
