International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study and practice of political, economic, and social interactions among sovereign states, as well as non-state actors such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations. It encompasses the analysis of foreign policy, diplomacy, conflict, cooperation, and the effects of globalization on international dynamics. The field examines how countries relate to one another, the causes of international conflict and cooperation, and the impact of international laws and institutions. Theories within international relations include realism, liberalism, constructivism, and others, which provide different frameworks for understanding the complexities of global affairs.
