Handball

Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the opposing team’s goal to score points. The game is played on a rectangular court with goals at both ends. Each team consists of six field players and one goalkeeper, who defends the goal. Players are allowed to hold the ball for a maximum of three seconds and can take up to three steps while holding it. The objective is to score by throwing the ball into the opponent’s goal, while using tactics and teamwork to outmaneuver the opposing defense. Handball emphasizes speed, agility, and teamwork, and matches are typically played in two 30-minute halves. This sport is popular in many countries and is governed internationally by the International Handball Federation (IHF).
